Tarapur Management Association
Founded on 14th February 1999 with seven members with a vision for
Managerial Development. In the year 2001, the association got
registered with the registrar of Charity Commissioner. All India
Management Association (AIMA) at present our after reviewing our
performance formally affiliated us in 2000.
There was no looking
back from then. The association at present with 138 member and 30
student members has successfully conducted various management
development programs. These programmes have benefited individuals
as well as corporates. Our activities are well appreciated by our
apex body and we have been awarded the Best local Management Award
consecutively for Six years.
In 2001, we started TMA institute of Management Studies for
imparting quality technical and Management education for working
executives of this area. We are presently Conducting on Advance
Diploma in Industrial safety recognised by Maharashtra State Board
of Technical Education and and we can proudly state that till date
we have churned out 130 safety officers.
Few of our activities conducted till date are as follows:-
EXECUTIVE TALENT SEARCH – ETS is conducted every year to
tap the hidden talents of executives working in tnis area. ETS is
a Management quiz programme clubbed with case study. Last year 22
teams from various Industries and 16 Student teams from various
local colleges participated in this competition
MANAGEMENT WEEK CELEBRATION - Every alternate year we
organise Management week and eminent speakers from the corporate
world are invite to share their view on themes like "Management in
the New millennium...Challenges & opportunities", "Vision &
Leadership for Business Success", "Winners Sustaining Success" and
the last one was "Building Institutions" Infrastructure
Development a need for growing India.
MANAGEMENT CONVENTION – Another mega event conducted
every alternate year by this association is Management Convention.
Leaders from the Management fraternity are invited and has
enlightened us on themes like " Business Strategy for
competitiveness", "Vision 2020, Great Business Opportunities" and
the last one we conducted was "New paradigms for success”
TRAINING
PROGRAMMERS - Keeping in mind our mission, we
have been continuously organising training programmes for all
strata of employees. The training programme on the topic "Role of
Workmen in enhancing
productivity & quality". Sath-Sath (Team Building), Prerana
(Motivation), especially for workmen and first line supervisors
and "Theory of Constraints" for executives have been well
appreciated by local Industries and we are continuing this program
this year too.
Evening Talk - We have been conducting evening talk
programme on various subjects for the benefit of our members &
students. Senior Executives from Industries share their experience
with other members, by way of well-prepared presentations.
WAIK-A-THON - An awareness programme relating to
environment was organised in 2004. Around 5000 people including
school children participated in the walk to spread the message of
clean and green Boisar/Tarapur.

» Infrastructure Development of our office and institute.
» To start new Diploma Course in Retail, HR & Service Sector.
Our association lays its emphasis on giving needed inputs to
the industry by way of training and development and we strongly
believe that we are as an input provider to the industry at large
according to its needs. |
